In Other Words

Put a name to something.
Try to make it real.
Fits your life, does it?

Circumstance changes things
and dance, me will, yes dance.
Trying not to trip over me two left feet.

Straining to untie the knotted thoughts.
And straighten out me life.
Yet every time me fingers close,
the essence slips through me grasp.
And love, oh love the purest truth.
Continues to elude me.

That life be in constant motion and the only absolute be change, We share a steadfast desire to make things permanent. Our minds crave permanence. Perpetual love and peace and health and friendship.
It be hard to come to terms with the facts that be staring you in the face every morning. Immortality be the child of transience.

Me no can stop time.

I gave up on the permanence part long ago.

"All the same we take our chances,
Laughed at by time,
Tricked by circumstances.
Plus ça change,
Plus c'est la même chose
The more that things change,
The more they stay the same."
- Neil Peart

it's true, the only constant in life is change itself. -and, the story of my life.

you're right.

we can't stop time.

Someone stopped time in my garage. It looks the same as it always has - a mess.

Since I can't stop time, I guess time will stop me. Eventually. Hopefully, I won't have wasted too much time along the way.

The poet in you is as beautiful and profound as any I've ever seen-
I never would have imagined that a Scary Monster could prick my heart the way you do.

Hope you have a great week~

Dr.Chip~ Me gonna look up that 'Neil Peart' guy. Me likes the way he speaks.

CornDog~ Your garage might just be a fine example of apathetic entropy.

Pink 1&2~ Having a stomping good time is what it be about. Especially when stomping on clocks that wake you from a sound slumber.

libby~ We all be on the clock, but me is thinking it be a good time to take a coffee break.

SJ~ Methinks that time Will have a tough job of stopping you-
"Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale
Her infinite variety."

Mrs.C.~ Good to see you back in the trenches. Me pricking is used for other things. When it comes to affairs of the heart Me prefers plucking instead.

Mr. Dyckerson~ You noticed that, did you? Your powers of observation are beyond the ken of mere mortals, monsters and used car salesmen.

STOMP.
