Magic can be pretty fun.
Me likes to do it for me students to get their attention and help them enjoy the lessons a little more. Now, me ain't being a great prestidigitator by any shakes, no sir, but if you have heard of David Blaine or Cyrill then you know what really good magic is.....
The key to magic is to stop trying to figure it out. After all, we know it's all bullshit and trickery. Sometimes story telling be much the same. Me be thinking that it be better to enjoy the tale rather than try and figure out who the teller be. Me never stopped to think if Aesop had a ghost writer or were publishing under another name, Me just enjoyed the pieces he wrote and tried to unnerstand them.

The easiest way to mess up a pretty piece of magic is to give away the secret!
Even if you think you know how the trick is done you can still enjoy the show if you let the performer do his thing.

I mean .. the grunt claims through his avatar to have that awesome red skin ... i'm not sure if i believe that ...
I am not a big fan of magic. If I am honest, when I watch it I do so trying to figure out the trick. I find that bit exciting... the challenge to know how its done. I am a skeptic with most things. I dont like surprises and I usually read the ending to a book in the middle. I then can keep a keen eye on the characters and how the author got to that ending...(I am sure that Freud would have something to say about that... good thing he is 10 feet under!)
As for people digging for secrets... I think we all are the sum of our parts... Even if you are a Scary Monster, you have other interesting bits and pieces to ya... I think I would take it as a compliment. You can choose whether to answer the nosy people them or not...
