This body eclectic

People is often talkin about their bodies as if they were put together like Mr. Potato Head, interchangeable and easily changed. Me guesses that with today's advanced medical technology, that is not so far from the truth.
What we don't like can be changed in a couple of moments under the knife. Me works with a gal who thinks her boobs be too small and another who is quite proud of her butt. There is a guy in the office who takes great pride in his jumping ability and constantly shows it off by leaping up and touching the ceiling. (Please don't ask me what kind of place Me works at, OK.)
Maybe when you was growing up there be parts of you that you like and parts you wish you could turn in for a refund. Me enjoys lookin at how different people is put together and me likes to see the results of those who try to do the best with what been given them.
When Me considers me own particular proportions and attributes me separates them into three divisions:
1. That which I like about meself - Me smile.
2. That which me would like to change but can't - Me hands.
and 3. The part that most people find attractive or comment on. - Me voice.
Me always askin folks around me about these things so now me be askin you
Feel free to fib about this. Everyone does.

Me no contain any artificial ingredients.

Plastic surgeons make a killing because so many people all want to look alike. That sort of seems like herd mentality to me. Each person is different, and I think that is wonderful. I find it very boring when everyone and everything is the same.

SJ That might be true for those who are weak of spirit, but there are some people who utizixe the sevices of plastic sugeons to improve the quality of their lives

Body parts, huh.
I'd have to say that I like my arms because of my ink.
If I could I would like to change my shoulders. No amount of weight lifting has been able to broaden them enough for me.
The part of me that gets the most recognition is my nose. I don't like it but others seem to.

1. I like my eyes- and they meant more to me when I saw them again in my son.

2. I often wish I was taller.
3. I think, based on the men and the women in my life- the thing that they like best is a cheerful personality. I usually have one :)

What you said is true, SM. Plastic surgery is a blessing when it comes to repairing birth defects, restoration after surgeries/accidents, etc. I'd have to question, though, whether multiple face lifts or the insertion of size 42DD implants really improves the quality of anyone's life. There seems to be much more elective cosmetic surgery than life-saving procedures.

You be absolutely right, SJ. Women who have brest implants, although not as large as your talkin about here, may not improve the qualities of their lives, but they certainly improve how me feels during the day

SM - For me this ties back to your blog entry filling an empty room - you have to go within yourself...
I wouldn’t think new boobs can make you feel better about who you are as a person
