Picture me this...
There be a folder in me files where me keeps all of the pictures me done used and some that never made it to the pages while producing Me No Blog. Me not knowing iffin ya do this or not, but Me done collected an impressive amount of silly photos.
Looking through them me be startin to wonder how many hours me done spent searchin fer stuff on the net, takin snapshots with the handy Monster cell-phone and photoshopping things so as to keep things interesting fer the readers that visit.
Me also be thinking about the folders in me head that probably contain a lot more pictures than ever been put in any computer. Me gots snapshots. Me gots videos. Me gots epic productions that make Cecil B DeMille look like a kid with crayons drawing on a tablecloth at a cheap ass family restaurant.
Me would love to be able to jack me brain into a computer and download the visions Me done beheld, like Roy Batty in Blade runner: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

I too have a huge file of pics both used and for future use. And yes, that jack to the brain would be quite handy but in my case, probably dangerous too...

SM - Yes! I do the very same thing. I write the pieces and even script where the photos will go and then go get them. But I also occasionally peruse the photos out there and I have come up with ideas around them. I also get a lot of post ideas from just adhoc comments I leave on blogs and then realize that they would make a good post subject.
ps - Is it just me or does it seem like most bloggers have left the building...
I think all good comedy is the venemous truth we all know inside but are afraid to look at.
I also think thats why we laugh - we unconsciously recognise it as our own, but we can't own it.

Let's just get all of it out of you the same way they do with pinatas. That way for us, the journey will be at least as enjoyable as the destination!
