Who's in need? Indeed.

Strange occurrences happen alla time.

In disguise as a mild mannered human being Me were answering a request to attend a Marriage of a friend who were me engineer when me had a radio programme here in Lilliput.

As Me sent off the reply, me noticed that another person, a good friend, were online and decided to IM her.
She be a teacher that me worked with fer a couple of years and we shared a bond because we were from the same home town. That be a rare thing here in the land where people say the strangest things.
It turns out that me friend be in a bad way. She were hit by a van and the sonovabitch didn't stop to see what damage he had done.

The woman were hurt. Hurt so very badly. That were some two months ago.

Above me desk there are two photographs. One be of Atlas holding up the world. Me took that picture more than twenty years ago in Rockefeller center to remind me that it ain't me that be holdin up the world and all of it's problems.

The other photo is of a group of five people at a party. All are laughing and making the usual stupid, slightly drunken faces at the camera and holding on to each other. It be a moment of supreme happiness and Me be the one who took the shot. Me friends stare out at me from that photograph with such happiness and joy that Me just had to have it framed and placed where me could view it every morning.

It makes me happy to remember that evening.

Me hopes she gets better,
Me hopes we all do.

Me no in a smiley mood right now.

I hope she gets better to.

And yes, I guess we DO all need healing from something.
But the thing really wounding all of us, is eachother.

What a terrible thing to happen to your friend. I hope she gets better soon. And, like you, I hope we all do.
