Me makes Ice

Your freezer. A home of lost dinners and pre-historic fossils of culinary examples from another age. In the Monster house the freezer is devoted to the cultivation of the perfect ice cube.

Me no blogger and me not here to tell you of the day to day experiences of a Monster among monsters. Me not here to try and entertain you. Me not even going to try to post something that make you think that me be the best thing since microwave popcorn.

Me makes ice.

There be more to solidifying water than to turn on the faucet and fill a tray of extruded plastic with tap water, oh no.
The creation of perfection or something as close as we can get to it needs total commitment to a singular ideal.
Have you ever held a pristine piece of polished ice in yer hand?
The first thing you might say to yerself is, damn this shit is cold.

It is.
But that won't stop me from from makin a drink with it.

Me no make exceptions.

How did you know I was buying up large natural ice fields in the event this global warming thing is real and people will start to want more ice! Damn...

That reminds me. I must defrost my freezer. There's a glacier growing out of it and there might be a couple of mammoths at the back.

The perfect ice cube? HA! It'll just melt in whatever you happen to be drinking. Talk about perfectionists! :-)

VE~ A man with his finger on the pulse of the future. Me likes that.

SeaRabbit~ Depends on where ya put the ice and how ya use it.

Romulus~ Not mammoths, but probably that discount steak that ya forgot about and it just turned wooley.

Little Lamb~ It's not the outcome, but the effort and the appreciation of the beauty, no matter how ephemeral.

STOMP.

When I had my first baby I said, "Damn! That hurt like everything!!!"

But it didn't stop me from making another one~

And the outcome was (in both cases)one of appreciation and beauty-
:)
