Looking Backwards. Giving Props
There be these things that go on in the blogworld that keep us connected.
Memes and Tags and the inquisitive Questionaire.
From tag to tag to tag to tag (each link different) the words we share get recycled and regurgitated so that a once forgotten post may live again and gain recognition. This all be leading us to different corners in Bloggyland
So now me be thinking about how me got to meet you and how you got to be meeting me.
It started with Zambo. He led me to Hale, who introduced me to Serena. These two are voracious bloggers who have a great sense of humour and the ability to express it in words. Somewhere along the way Me met The Grunt, Cap'n me Cap'n. Not too sure how me got to his place, but he throws a great party and me almost never misses a chance to go by fer a visit. Then came Southern Writer, who ain't just whistlin Dixie and Mayden, who has a kind word for everyone.
One way or another me met you, and vice versa, through other bloggers. Me loves to go through other peoples link list and visit folks who me has never met before and iffin they come by me place a couple of times me likes to get linky with 'em. This had led me to many shining stars in the curtain of darkness.
As the amount of people me gets to know grows. It becomes more difficult to comment on everyone's posts. That don't mean that me ain't reading them, just not stomping on 'em.
At least once a week me goes through the entire list in me drop down box and touches base with everyone on it. Unfortunately Me just ain't as clever as the Pug or tfg or the Mighty one, so me often don't know what to say.
Me wants to thak you all for being a part of the silliness that occurs here and for all the attention the little green monster recieves. I love the pics you send to me mailbox and eventhough me cant post many of them without losing me family rating, me does enjoy the imagery when me responds to yer letters and comments.
Next week will be devoted to Cabo and hopefully after that we might get to hear from Travelin' Scary. He is in Toronto last I heard.
You folks have a great week!

I credit Southern Writer's blog as the first place I met you, Monster.
I think we met through Kan's blog but I'm not exactly sure. You were also my key blog back to my site during my recent virtual road trip. I'm linked to so few, it was a challenge to get back...
lbb~ That sounds right. Most of the literatti that me knows came though her doors.
Varient~ It was the lord of lemmings who brought us together. Me has always enjoyed the zany way you guys look at life.
scary monster-i met you at my psychopathic politics blog, and i loved getting your opinion on it! different opinions is what makes blogging fun!
I met you through the lovely Mayden. I loved reading about your travels.
I too don't always comment, but I always come by to read! All of my links are a part of my day!
Yeah, it was awesome to have you come stomping on my blog. I know that NYD started visiting before you did and I know he is your pal. Anyway, I've let my readership dwindle because I started to get to the point where visiting was becoming a chore. Now I just visit who I like and when I like. I like your blog, so I enjoy coming over here and reading it.
Gee, thanks for the kind words. But I put my pants on one leg at a time just like most folks, when I do wear anything "south of the equator".
Yep, it's cool how we all come together. I've enjoyed visiting you and of course your visits to my place.
I'm fairly certain I found you over at Pugs..
6 degrees of separation eh?
I found my way here via The Mighty Dyck, under the premise of it being a porn site. While I admit the lack of porn was tough to get over at first, I may very well have to find my way back here again.
well you found me with the "next blog" button, and i stayed :)
scary, do you have a standard traveling version of you that i can show around antwerp and prove it with pictures, when i find the time?
ahum i mean: just jump into the ocean and swim over here
I found you via graffiti in the men's room wall.
It's been so long that I can't really remember where I picked you up. I thought it might have been at Southern Writer's, but I also kind of recall that she met you at my place. So, I don't know. It's just good that we're all connected.
Libby~ yeah. Me remembers that. Me were a bit of a dickhead, ya. Gave nea a whole lotta stompin over that
BD29~ Well chalk another one up to Mayden. What do you mean "loved." Sniff
Grunt~ It's oten kinda hard to keep up with your stuff. Me never knows what me gonna get into when me gets to yer place.
Pug~ Being humble doesn't suit you lil pup. You are one of the sharpest commentators out there. When is the next post coming?
OGirl~ Thanks to the travelin monster and the Grunt me probably wouldn't have found out just how cool you are.
leelee~ You found me? Me thought me found you! Anyway we found each other and the finding be fun.
Blog Portland~ Mr.Dykerson makes everyone's blog seem like a porn movie. Glad you came by. Will post some dirty pics next week.
Paul~ there is a monster floating around the world. Right now he is with Scott in Toronto. Iffin you contact him I'm pretty sure he would send the monster his way.
tfg~ How'd that happen? Me only writes stuff in the ladies room stalls.
SJ~ I think you picked me up in a bar in south Fla. one night. Me were drinkin tequila and turning green.
STOMP.
Me found yer blog through yer link on the sex offenders' registry. SQUISH!
Oh, yeah, Scary, I think it was a bar, with Tequila involved. I'm pretty sure it was in Tijuana, though.:-)
I have no memory - none. I suspect I found you at Serena Joy's Bar and Grill, the night we were doing tequila shots and I fell on the fountain and chipped my front tooth.
YEAH CABO! I look so forward to the little pink fellow. Scary, don't you worry about not getting to other people's blogs. No one cares. We go where we want. We are the Hell's Angels of the Internet or the Cyber Panthers or not.
I found you through Serena Joy. Your too-funny mix of monsterous sarcasm and a monster-sized heart lured me in. I check in on your blog at least once a day. If I ever get felt up by a schmuck in a bar, I hope you will be there to bust his chops, or his head, or something. Stomp when you might have spoken. That kind of thing.
...I think everyone else here is smarter than I am, though, so I don't always (or even often) comment.
I'm a fan. U Rah Rah, Monster! And stompelodeo. Scary-wa sugoi, deshoo ne?
