From the mixed up files of Colonel Walter E. Kurtz

There be little things.
Not the kind of things one notices right off.
At first me was somewhat leery of actually admitting these things to me self and certainly not out loud to anyone else, but it seems like Me be getting older.
It started with me noticing that cuts and bruises took a little more time to heal.
Now me having to carry me reading glasses with me alla time.
It don' bother me all that much 'cause Me be looking quite distinguished in them and Me believes that people will be thinking that Me be more intelligent than Me really is.

Funny thing about glasses.
They let you focus in on things that you would have missed iffin you weren't wearing them.
The more you look for things, the more likely it be that you will find them.

If you spend most of your time reading the headlines of newspapers what is it that you will find.
Day after day. Week after week and year in and out we read about the horrors that occur.
Me not so sure that me wants to help propagate the infamy that filth incur upon the innocent.

It not be news anymore.
It not be worth reading.
It not be efficacious in any way at all.

Me no put me glasses on for a while.

I bet Monster would look really good in some sharp glasses!

I agree that the news and newspaper are terrible to read. There is so little "good stuff" now days.

What if you are looking for your glasses?

Is old news on a new day new news? If the same thing happens over and over, but at different times how often are you required to update? The wheel spins around and around, but I do not tell you about each rotation so how does one decide when to speak about the spinning wheel?

I think I'll send you some magic spectacles which weed out the bad news and let you see only the good.:)

I want a pair of those x-ray spectacles that sell in the back of comic books that let you see through clothing.

Sear Scary-
You are one WISE Monster...
I have not watched the News in 2 days- but I do see info on the internet.
What is the old saying? "Garbage in = Garbage Out"...

Think I'll watch some Monty Python and Stomp around with the Knights who say Nee!!! Might be silly- but being silly might be good on a night like tonight.

Did the Grunt ever get to spend any time with you? I wondered "Where" you were.

As always- I send my best :)

My vision is terrible and lately getting worse. I don't know if they'll be able to find contacts strong enough for me soon.

I try to ignore the news as a rule. I scan headlines. Doesn't mean I'm not affected by it, just that I try not to dwell.
