Americans and the war

Here be something me discovered in me mailbox this morning. Outrageous propaganda iffin you ask me.

As a mother who has a son in the forces (God bless you William and may he keep you safe) I say it is high time we put a stop to this foolishness. The rebels or terrorists or whatever you want to call them are no better than animals. We try to bring civilization to their poor impoverished land and what do we get in return? Ingratitude. I believe that our leader is correct. Lets send more troops over there to take care of those upstarts. The boys need our support. The sooner we discover the hiding places of their leaders and take them out the safer the world will become!

Just watching them cheering for their leaders as they proclaim that only death will stop them sends shivers up my spine. We should have found that Patrick Henry and the other terrorist Washington by now not to mention their others like that Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Pain; put a few cannon balls in the right places is what we should do. If only I could get ahold of a musket I would show that Paul Revere a thing or two.

Can you believe the way those "Minute men" Behaved at bunker hill. Ignoring the rules of battle to run and hide and attack our men when they least expect it. Outrageous! King George should certainly put a stop to such disgraceful behaviour. The world will not be safe until we have found every last instigator and ended the rebellious uprising. Lord North you have my full support and I hope that every Brit who thinks that we shouldn't be fighting this war remember the terrible event That happened at Boston Harbor where our innocent boys were ruthlessly attacked by the irreverent animals led by Samuel Adams.

I say lets end this terrible war as quickly as possible and return to our peaceful, civil zed way of life.

I agree. It looks like outrageous propaganda. It demonstrates, though, how it's possible to play devil's advocate and put a spin on ANYthing.

Maybe it's too difficult to think that something you be doing ain't good. Dehumanizing the enemy makes it easier to believe that evil actions are justified.This pertains to anyone and everyone involved in perpetrating war.
Me is not talkin about defense against aggression. A country or person may use any means available to protect the sanctity of their body against harm.
All countries believe that they are always correct and justified in their military actions. Is it possible that they too are considered terrorists and infidels. When you pick up one end of the stick, you pick up the other.

The enemy will always be easier to fight if they are not viewed as human. That way you are not killing someone's father, mother, friend, son, or daughter.

Me feels like this is an episode from Star Trek where me is just a backwoods savage and Mayden is Capitain Kirk.
