Safe and Sounding
Hello people. Happy Blog Year.
Me has returned.
Seeing so many comments from all of you out there really makes coming home all the nicer. Me will pay me respects to those of you who have left words of kindness and greet the newcomers with pithy words of wisdom.
In the meanwhile me would like to give you an update on the way me spent the last few days.
Instead of doin the usual things for the holidays Me decided to use Me thumb and me feet an see for Meself just what’s goin on with the world or at least me small corner of it.
Me packed a rucksack with some socks, underwear, a couple o energy bars and two litres of water. Bare bones.
One piece of I.D. and just enough money to get me home from where Me ends up.
The road is the only place where Me can forget about all the hairy shit and tune into the voice that lives in me heart. Even if it’s just for a short while me gets the chance to see how folks is gonna treat me and get a feelin for the vibes. This be just a teaser. When Me has rested a bit Me will let you know what Me has discovered.
Me bed & pillow look so inviting right now.

Hello Scary Monster!
Glad you made it back! The road can be a harsh mistress...
I'm looking forward to reading about your recent adventures.
Take care out there!
Your Pal,
Zambo.
SM- You are quite brave...
I have taken to the road a few times my self- but not on foot- and of course it wouldn't be safe for me to do other wise, which is a sad thing to say really~ :(
And in all my journeys alone- I've never met anyone who meant me harm.
Sadly- the people who have done the worst damage were ones who said they loved me...it's a strange world, isn't it?
But all bad things are wayyyy behind me- and I don't give them any room in my heart- I am loved- sometimes brilliant, and sometimes foolish. And just like you...my bed and pillow are a lovely way to end my day.
Glad you are home safe~
Hope you rest well :)
I'm glad to see you back, SM, and hope you found what you sought on your journey. I'm looking forward to your update about your travels and their revelations.
Mayden, I used to take to the road a lot myself. It was much safer then, thankfully. Like you, I've found that it's often those closest to you (or so you think) that you must be most wary of. That pretty much sucks.
I love road trips. My philosophy is that if you don't look for trouble, you won't find any. People were always very kind to me on my journeys. I wish I could go back now, thank them all, and show them I survived. Glad to see you did, too. I'm looking forward to reading all about it.
Hey there friend. I left a prayer for you at the shrine. To see you through safely during your adventure and it seems like things went well. Glad to have you back.
Waiting for the words....
