Ain't no mountain high enough.

With lots of time on Me paws Me has been thinking about the upcoming new (and hopefully improved) year. Clicking from link to link with occasional pauses to peruse the contents of peoples minds, Me came upon mostly thoughts about self improvement. Many folks seem to be resolved to keep their promises or resolved not to make any. Either way you win me suppose.
Me read a post where someone spoke about climbing a mountain, standing on it's summit and greeting the first rays of the new year. Me likes that idea. It smacks of rejuvenation, introspection and transformation.
If me decides to climb that mountain me believes it is an effort invoked to produce change. Resolutions are all about changes. Can Me truly change me self. Me is not talking about a simple substitution of ground rules Me sets for me self. Me is considering something deeper and more intrinsic. What is the me, Me seeks to be. Will that me still be me when Me get there?
Me just might stand on a wind whipped apex of rock to locate the borders of my thoughts and see if Me can step outside them for a while.

Did Felix the cat or Gumby have days like this?

Hey there scary.
No problem, in fact I'm honoured. Glad I could help you out.
Thanks for the heads up.
You do a much better job than I.

You pose an excellent question, SM -- can one change oneself without changing one's essential youness. The wind-whipped apex of rock you speak of can be found in the most unexpected places. When one can find it (the rock) within oneself, one is capable of great things.

I love your 'You talkin' bout me' feature. How'd you do that?

Hello again SJ- You can find a really easy way to put the comment thing into your side bar here:

http://beautifulbeta.blogspot.com/2006/11/customizable-recent-posts-widget.html

The site has a lot of really cool hacks, But Me had to tweak it a bit before Me got exactly what Me wanted. Me find that life is like that too.
I'm not certain if it's possible to change the essential Me~ness hence my problem with change in general. When Me figure it out you'll be the first Me tells

Well, I made it. This counts for something, right? I was hoping for a Hostess fruit pie, but I will take whatevers. This has been my first stop since hiding. I too feel that I can do something about improving myself for the new year. First up is making sure I wear matching socks.

Thanks for letting me in on your secret, SM. I'll give that a try after while.

You know, I have a hunch you don't need to change all that much. I like you just fine the way you are.:)

SJ- (Sexy Jewel)enjoy the hack

LogoBaby-Me wants to be thankin you for your visit, Me appreciates the advice, but me is the Scary Monster! STOMP!
Me eats grammar and poops it out in the literary sandbox. Voraciously Me nibble on misplaced modifiers and has been known to, gobble dangling participles in the brightest moods.I drink down and slake Me thirst on beverages and libation of a redundant nature again and again. Me frantically frowns on frivolous alliteration and uses metaphor and simili like a samurai weilding a pen.
Me truly thanks you for your visit and Me hopes to hear from you again.
STOMP.

Grunt- Sorry man- Me ate the pies and they were tasty. I can let you have me socks though.

Did you know, Scary Monster, that in Japan, people climb Mt. Fuji to reach the summit at dawn, and believe they will begin a whole new life by doing so? Sort of like being baptized, I think. An astrology client of mine did it, and it sounded very spiritual to me.
